Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr visited the Nigeria’s U20 Camp on Friday evening ahead of the team preparation for WAFU U20 and encouraged the players to Make the country Proud.

Rohr who advised the team on Friday Evening, gave the team moral support and encouraged them to do the nation proud by qualifying for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Flying Eagles will begin their campaign towards the AFCON at the 2020 West African Football Union, WAFU, U-20 Championship against Cote d’Ivoire on November 19, at the State Municipal, before trading tackles with Ghana on November 22.

Niger is reportedly ready to host the 2020 WAFU U20 football competition after Togo withdrawn from hosting the tournament.

Togo confirmed they are no longer interested in staging the competition on Wednesday, sighting the ongoing coronavirus pandemic as the reason.

Meanwhile, The Ladan Bosso tutored side thrashed Horvel Prime Academy 4-0 Abuja on Thursday few days after defeating Tripple 44 Football Club 3 -0 as part of their preparation for the championship.
