The Aboki Football Club, Mircale FC, claimed Victory during the Vicolas/Item7 Olympics championship in Ekiti.
Aboki thrashed Yagi FC 5 -0 while Miracle defeated Saviola FC 2-1.
Aboki opened the scoring towards the ending of first half as they secured a free kick very close to the penalty area. Olumide, popularly known as Lampard, converted the free kick. This put Aboki FC in the front as the game continued.
Aboki FC kept mounting pressure on their opponent by attacking tactically and strategically as they got their second goal in the first half. It was a beautiful movement when Precious drives the ball in and shoot, putting the ball at the back of the net. The first half ended in a 2:0 victory in favour of Aboki FC.
The second half started shortly after the break with the Aboki FC ahead. They both traded tackle until a penalty kick was awarded in favour of the Aboki FC and beautifully converted by Omobolaji. This placed Aboki FC 3goals ahead.
The match continued with the same tenacity until a perfect substitution by Aboki FC further led to their dominance as Ayobami, popularly known as Van Persie was brought in with a shocking first touch that waved through Yagi FC defenders and landed behind the net. It was a thing of delight for Aboki FC supporters as they laugh and called them semi Bayern.
Just before the end of the match, Ayobami (Van Persie) scored his brace which saw Aboki FC at the end of the game.
Reacting after the game, Aboki Zola coach, Dino Ahmed expressed his appreciation for the support they got and the performance of his boys, promising to work on other angles that needs to be perfected.
For Yagi FC coach, Coach Oluwatosin, He stated his dissatisfaction with the result, claiming that they all had their fault including himself, his players and officials He also claimed that 40% of the fault came from the officials, as the linesman overlooked some offside that resulted to their defeat.
While it was downpour of goals between Aboki FC and Yagi FC, Miracle FC had an edge over Saviola FC in the ongoing Vicolas/Item7 Olympic.
The first goal of the game happened in the first half due to the lack of communication between the defender and the goalkeeper of Saviola that led to an own goal.
In the second half, Saviola FC equalised and gave a bit of hope as the match continued 1-1, until a dramatic free kick from Miracle FC went behind the net, leaving Saviola FC keeper breathless after he tried to save the kick that resulted into a clash with the bar.
The match continued after Saviola FC keeper was substituted. The match ended 2-1 in favour of Miracle FC.
A free kick was awarded to the Miracle FC and it scored, on an attempt to save the free kick the goalkeeper hits the bar and fainted. A new goalkeeper was substituted and the match continued as it ended at 2-1.
Speaking with Miracle head coach, coach Gentle, he expressed his delight with the performance of his boys and promised to improve the team in other areas that needs to be fine-tuned.
The last match of the day between Ultimate phones fc and Citizen was a seven goals thriller match.
Ultimate phones fc were outstanding throughout the game scored two goals in the first half to pressurize the citizens.
Goals from Ogungbade Joel and James Olaniyan seperated the Men from boys in the first 45minutes.
The second half began with so much anticipation from Citizens fans to equalize but it became worse as four more goals was added.
The first hattrick of the competition was recorded with Emmanuel Esolz beautiful strikes.
Citizens got a consolation due to defensive error from the defenders.
