Embattled Fortuna Sittard coach, Sunday Oliseh, has revealed that he was suspended at the Dutch second division side because he refused to engage in illegal activities in the club and thus break the law.

They had been previous speculations that Oliseh was sacked by Sittard but the club came open to dismiss the rumors.

Sittard however took to their official Twitter page today February 14 to confirm that they have

suspended their manager stating that they did so due to his his inadmissible actions.

The 43-year-old former Super Eagles manager took to his Twitter handle to explain why he was suspended in his own opinion. The ex-Super Eagles captain tweeted: ” I confirm: Due to my refusal to participate in Illegal activities at Fortuna sittard & violate the Law,i have been Suspended from my duties as Coach by the Foreign Owners of Fortuna.Unfortunate for the lovely fans, my players & our hard fought phenomenal positioning for Promotion”
