The community Team Sodubi FC has continued to maintain her unbeaten run in the Sodubi Super 4 league after defeating Harnelkey 1-0 at Sodubi Primary school field, ojere Abeokuta.
Sodubi won the match by one goal to nil after both team had no goals in the first half and missed several chances to score.
Sodubi FC scored the only goal of the match in the in the second half courtesy of Oyelowo Moses screamer.
In an interview with Sodubi coach Oyelowo Toheeb said the match was fun and he commended his boys for a game well played, he also said his fans should expect more from them.
“Today’s match was interesting as we all watched the match, and I believe my boys have tried their best and we are going to the final, we are the one toping the group now so our next match will just be an easy game. My fans should expect a good game like the one we played just now, I believe our main goal is to secure the trophy at the final.” He said.
Meanwhile, the man of the match who scored the goal for sodubi fc, Oyelowo Moses appreciated God for the success and performance in the match and he said that guiding and working with his teammates as a captain is not a hard work but an easy one for him.
“I feel good the match was tough, but we thank God for the success of today’s match, we are hoping for the next match to be successful as well. It’s not hard guiding my teammates because we play together we do things together, so it is very easy for us to play together in peace, I support my team and I really appreciate them.
“I performed well, it’s a good thing and I appreciate the recognition of being the man of the match and hope for the next training to make up the next match.” Oyelowo Moses said.
Meanwhile team Sodubi top the table in the Sodubi Super 4 league with six points.
