The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick visited the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium Ahead of Super Eagles Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Sierra Leone.

Pinnick speak was excited about the renovation of the stadium, confirmed that the match will be played in the stadium

According to him, “The truth is we are very excited about what we have seen here today and we believe Super eagles will be playing here for a very long time.

“We have always been very thankful to the Edo state government been there for the Nigeria Football Federation and we thank them for the generosity at a point in time at this sensitive time”

The President also added that all COVID 19 Protocols and guidelines will be followed during the match and also waiting for CAF approval for the usage of Video Assistance Referee facilities to be used during the match

“CAF has to approve it like I told the Deputy governor whatever you have you have to showcase it, we have to write again to get approval for the VAR and see how it can be used and we are very excited about it” he added
