Towards the end of last year Salami Taye struggled with his form as he was unable to replicate the form that kept him in the ever youth believing team REMO STARS receiving a call up.

He was able to finish last year with 28 goals and could have gotten more, but lost his touch and almost his place in the U13 starting line-up however the constant faith his team mates have in him along with the coaches helped him keep his place.

“He scores unbelievable goals, and always create goals too, we needed to back him,it was difficult for us too” .

“He helps with keeping the ball upfront and bringing defenders to play and creates space for his wingers”.

This year Taye seem to have gotten his mojo back with 7 goals in 11 games including approximately 3 assist,a sign he is already recuperating.

Helping the team to their first quarter finals this year and second in the league.
