Super Falcons forward, Rasheedat Ajibade has part ways with Norwegian Toppserien side, Avaldsnes as her contract end with the Club.

The twenty one year Star, revealed this on her Twitter page thanking her teammates, saying her two years stay has come to an end.

According to her tweet, “2 years filled with amazing teammates & wonderful experiences coming to an end. Thank you for believing in me and helping me to become a better football player.
Thank you Avaldsnes Where next for #RASH ? Stay tuned”

Ajibade joined Norwegian side from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) side, FC Robo Queens in 2018.

She was named in the Norwegian female Team of the Season after scoring seven league goals for Avaldsnes in 2020 which was her personal best in a single season.

Avaldsnes won bronze with Ajibade after a 4-0 defeat to Sandviken which ensured that the Club missed out on the UEFA Women’s Champions League place and the league title.

Ajibade has represented Nigeria at under-17 ,
under-20 and senior national team and she was part of the 2018 African Nations Championship Nigeria women’s national football team where she won the tournament alongside the team.
