Enugu Rangers coach, Gbenga Ogunbote kept his tradition alive as the man they call ‘oracle’ refused to be beaten by his former employers. Ogunbote’s Flying Antelopes were close to plucking all three points off his former paymasters, Sunshine Stars but ended up sharing the spoils in a thrilling 1-1 draw.
Ogunbote was on the hang man’s mercy last week following a 1-1 draw against Kano Pillars in Enugu. But this time, the Flying Antelopes looked like running home with a second away win of the season after Ifeanyi George had given them a 28th minute lead.
That was not to be as Nojeem Raji drew his side level close to the half time break.
“It was a fair result. We thought we could win but at the end we got a point which is not a bad result”, Ogunbote said.
