After the departure of Ayodeji Ayeni, the management of Ekiti united have appointed Samson Omiponle to fill the shoes of the former gaffer. Omiponle who was the assistant to Ayodeji Ayeni will be in charge of the club when they welcome Lagos based side Vandrezzer Fc today at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium Ado Ekiti.
While speaking with the General manager of Ekiti united Chief Deji Shamo said that although the departure of Ayodeji Ayeni will be felt but their are other hands that will fill in the space the former gaffer left at the club.
Ekiti united who are currently in the 3rd position will be facing Tony Bolus’ side Vandrezzer Fc who are currently in the 9th position with 20point seek to increase the gap when they play match day 17 of the Nigeria National league.
According to the captain of Ekiti united Babtunde Bello, he said his side won’t relent in her endeavour to secure maximum point against Vandrezzer. Bello who expressed that their isn’t any difference between Coach Ayeni and Omiponle because the duo have similar philosophy which had been productive for the club so far this season.
