The Ogun State football Association (OGSFA) has declared that her pre season tournament will kick off December 15, nairasports.com.ng reports
The tournament is scheduled to be played at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta and the Gateway stadium, Sagamu.
In a letter signed by the OGSFA Secretary, Elder V.O Idowu disclosed that the competition is aimed to prepare teams for new season.
NAIRASPORTS Can confirm that Three teams from Ogun state will be plying their trade in the Nigeria Second Tier league, the Nigeria National League (NNL), the teams are Gateway United, Remo stars and Fc Nilayo.
Elder Idowu added that clubs are to pay N50,000 to obtain participation form.
According to the letter, “with the highest regards of the chairman and executive board members of ogun State football Association, I am directed to inform you that the aforementioned (OGSFA), has concluded all arrangement to stage 2020/2021 Pre season tournament. Kick off Date: Tuesday, 15th December. Venue: MKO stadium , Kuto and Gateway stadium sagamu.
” It is worth to say, the tournament is aimed at to preparing teams for the new season and to get them associated with the new NFF/FIFA COVID19 Guidelines.
“In view of the foregoing, you are hereby informed to pay a participation fee N50,000 to the OGSFA FCMB Account and forward the teller to the Secretariat to obtain the form for participation”.
