The Ogun state Based football Club, Remo Stars has rewarded her players and officials with N5 million following their qualification to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
NAIRA SPORTS Reports that Remo Stars returns to NPFL after spending three years in the Nigeria National League at the just concluded Super 8 in Enugu.
The Chief Executive Officer of the club Hon. Kunle Soname splashed the cash reward on players and officials of the team during the teams party on Wednesday in Ikenne.
Soname reiterated that the objectives of the club is for development of players.
According to him, “For us, it is all about players’ development, we don’t care if we relegate or not, of course, we want to stay up but we won’t make it a do or die affair. We know our aims and objective and we will keep achieving them,” he said.
Meanwhile, Remo stars had earlier announced that Coach Daniel Ogunmodede will leave the club for Portugal.
