Ogun State cycling Association in conjunction with the Ministry of Transportation have concluded arrangements to stage a cycling event tagged “Open Ride” in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital on Thursday October 1, 2020.
The event will serve the purpose of creating awareness about cycling and it has been strategically scheduled for the 60th Celebration of Nigeria’s independence.
Cyclists will be joined by some important personalities tomorrow for the “Open Ride” event
Meanwhile the Ogun State Ministry of Transportation says all road users should accomodate each other while on the move.
According to a release from the ministry, private and public road users should understand the fact that the road is meant for all including Cyclists, riders, drivers and pedestrians and should be shared in love adding that it’s also pertinent to obey the traffic rules.
The ministry advised every road users to be patient and avoid driving against the traffic rules whenever they are on the move.
