Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has conceded that
“Manchester United is a possibility” as he continues to consider his
future.
The France international forward was heavily linked with a move to Old
Trafford over the summer, only to eventually remain in Spain and
commit to a new contract.
He has since declared that he has no regrets at opting against a
big-money switch , despite enduring an uncharacteristic dip in form
during the 2017-18 campaign.
In his biography, ‘Behind a smile, the life of the Little Prince told
by himself’, the 26 year-old said: “I have nothing against England,
apart from the weather, Manchester United is a possibility.
“In June 2017 I prolonged my contract. I am tied to the club until 2022.
“Although I am missing titles, here I have everything to be happy.
This does not mean they do not go away one day.
“As much as I repeat that I am delighted at Atletico, I have a great
coach and great teammates, they regularly ask me about my future.”
