Nigeria’s formost marathons and road races running company, Nilayo Sports Management Limited, has set July 17, 2021 as the new date for the maiden Ijebu Heritage Half Marathon after a meeting in Ijebu Ode.
Bukola Olopade, the Chief Executive Officer of Nilayo Sports disclosed on Friday after a meeting with The Heritage Group in Ijebu Ode that the Ijebu Marathon will be called Ijebu Heritage Half Marathon.
The Ijebu International Half Marathon is a 21 Kilometre race, the route will start from the newly constructed Epe-Ijebu road and will end at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium
Ijebu International Half Marathon is greatly supported by the Ogun state government. The event will also feature a 5 Kilometre race for fun runners. The event will hold in July, 2021.
