Organisers of GOtv Boxing Night 13 Flykite Promotions have assured fans  adequate security at  Landmark Centre, Victoria Island Annex, Lagos, venue for the event today.

Flykite Promotions’Chief  Executive Officer Jenkins Alumona said the event had  not recorded  any  violence since it began in 2014.

He said, “We take security very seriously. One of our partners, KSquare Security, is a leading firm in the security sector. Arrangements have been made with them to provide top-tier security in and around the venue to ensure that fans do not have to bother.

We will also provide buses to move fans from the National Stadium to the venue and back to the stadium after the show. We have made security  arrangements at the stadium to facilitate easy boarding and disembarking.”

The event will feature two African Boxing Union title fights, featuring two Nigerians, Oto ‘Joe Boy’ Joseph and Olaide ‘Fijaborn’ Fijabi against Egyptian and Kenyan opponents respectively.

Rasheed ‘Afonja Warrior’ Abolaji defends his West African Boxing Union against Arye Ayitteh of Ghana. Rilwan ‘Baby Face’ Babatunde will seek to win the national light welterweight title when he takes on Chijioke ‘Painless’ Ngige.
