Following the Ban on Contact sports by the federal government as part of measures to curb COVID 19, Nigerians have taken to their social media to demand the reopening of Contact Sports.

NAIRASPORTS had earlier lifted the ban on Non-Contact sports and postponed the county’s Olympic (National sports festival) earlier scheduled for March.

Concerned Nigerians asked the Federal Government to bring Back and lift ban on Contact Sports

Meanwhile, the minister of youths and Sports, Sunday Dare have urged all sporting lovers in the country that contact Sports will be reopened soon

According to Minister on his verified twitter handle “We are hopeful that the re-opening of all sports will@be shortly upon us. The Ministry has done all that’s necessary and required especially with regard to the COVID-19 protocols. The PTF, Health Ministry and NCDC have guided appropriately. A bit of Patience.
