A National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Miss Ioryisa Mirable has donated a sign post and logo signage to her Place of Primary Assignment (PPA), Akwa United Football Club.

According to Mirable, on arrival to Akwa United club house at Etukcat Street, off Abak road as a result of her posting from NYSC she realized that there was no sign post to direct fans or visitors to the club house.

In her address during the commissioning of her CDS project she said: “When I arrived the club house situated at Etukcat street, off Abak road, I noticed that there was absolutely no sign to direct fans or visitors to the building /club house. After some weeks, I was attached to the Media department of the team. That was when I conceived the idea of giving the club a befitting sign post and logo signage ”

Akwa Ibom Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr Julius Amusan while commissioning the project thanked Miss Ioryisa Mirable for the projects and charged other Corp members to emulate Miss Ioryisa.

Giving a remark, Elder Paul Bassey, Chairman of Akwa United Football Club who also doubles as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sport thanked the Corp member for the projects, He said her projects will keep her in their minds even after she has left. He also charged other NYSC corps members to always leave a positive mark anywhere they are posted to.
