Premier League club Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a mega million January 2018 move for Sporting Lisbon winger Gelson Martins.
Recently, the 22-year-old player was linked with a move to Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, but his Portuguese club are said to have demanded massive sum of £100m for him to leave them.
Arsenal are on the verge of losing Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, and the Gunners are planning to sign Borussia Dortmund man Pierre Aubameyang.
But according to the report by Starsport, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not interested in the signing of Aubameyang as the Frenchman wants the signature of Gelson Martins.
The report also claimed that Arsene Wenger is ready to convince and tempt Sporting Lisbon chiefs with £65m for them to allow Martins to move to England.
Martins who has scored six goals in 24 games this season came through the ranks at Sporting before making his senior debut in 2015.
He has won 15 caps for Portugal and helped them to a third place finish at last summer’s Confederations Cup.
