The Minister of Sport, Ibrahim Nyelenkeh, visited the National Stadium on Monday to watch the training of Leones Stars as they prepare for their back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifier ties against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Watching from the Presidential stand, the Minister seemed satisfied with the performance of the team including its show on techniques and dribbling skills.
Leone Stars Head Coach John Edward Kiester is yet to release names of invited players that will form part of the squad. However, Home Based players have hardly ceased from putting their best performance as they await selection.
Government’s support to the National Team has remained unabated.
Minister Nyelenkeh assures the squad of his Ministry’s and that of the National Sports Council’s continued support to the side.
