Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic (AAPOLY), placed on sixth position at the Gateway tertiary institutions games (GATIG) after having gathered 25 medals, 1 gold,13 silver and 11 bronze. The students athletes won a gold and silver medal in Judo, three silver medals in table tennis, bronze in taekwondo, Silver medal in Ayo Olopon and other sports at the competition.
GATIG is a sporting competition among territory institutions in Ogun with nine tertiary institutions registered for 2022 Edition. The event was held at Gateway international stadium,Sagamu Ogun state.
Different sports were competed at the event. The competition which began on the 15th of May, 2022 featured many games such as Football, Shortput, Volleyball, Ayoolopon, Taekwondo, Judo, Table tennis and other activities.
Abraham Adesanya polytechnic sports committee appreciated the school management for their support and toward the success of the Gateway Tertiary Institution Games.
