The President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku has described the Super Eagles of Nigeria as ‘little babies’ ahead of their World Cup clash against Ghana.

Kurt Okraku speaking ahead of the game said, Ghanaians must rally behind the team because the Black Stars must be in Qatar for the World Cup.

“It is that time of the year where every Ghanaian must stand up, that time of the year where the country’s pride is at stake. Ghana must be at the mundial but before we do that we have a common foe, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, they come across as our little babies but they pretend to big boys”

The Back Stars will take on the Super Eagles in two matches scheduled for Kumasi and Abuja respectively as the search for a ticket to November’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar heats up.

Ghana will host the 1st leg at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Friday, March 25 before travelling to Abuja for the 2nd leg on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
