The Coach of Tottenha, Mauricio Pochettino has expressed his concerned over the closure of transfer window in England saying it could ‘create a mess’ at Spurs.

He said: “I wasn’t in agreement [with the decision] but at that moment they believed that was best for the clubs,” said the Spurs gaffer.

Spurs concluded their summer business as they added Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso to their squad, having already broken their transfer record on Tanguy N’Dombele, but European clubs still have until September 2 to sign players.

“But I think he [Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy] and a lot of people now realise it was a massive mistake. I hope that we fix the problem for the next season.

He said further that England needs to go back to how other European closes their transfer window.

“We need to go back and operate in the same way that they operate in Europe because I think it’s massive when you go to compete in the Europa League or Champions League.
“In this situation we open the door for clubs in Europe to try and create confusion in the club.

He also said it is an advantage to other European clubs because they will compete in the champions league

“For me it’s not common sense and we need to go back quick, hope they have a good conversation at the Premier League and go back quickly [to how it was].”
