Arsenal parted ways with Arsene Wenger at the end of the 2017/18 season which now led to the appointment of Unai Emery, everyone knew he stepped into a great shoe but his heroics at Sevilla got him the job. The club needed a manager that would lead them back to the UEFA champions league, Unai was given the role of the Head coach and a two year contract with a clause to extend it if he leads the team back to the top four.

In the 2018/2019 season Unai Emery led side played brilliant football which the fans loved , in his first season he signed 2 defensive midfielders, a Goalkeeper and a defender but when the season became intense Unai disappointed. Arsenal had great opportunity to claim a spot in the top four but he blew it , having had another route which is the Europa League Final in Baku, the team lost the final by four goals to one against Chelsea who already qualified for the Champions League by finishing in the top four.

So far this season, the woeful display has continued, the only saving grace Arsenal is enjoying currently now is the exceptional service of Aubameyang, without his goals Arsenal would be placed 19th on the log. Despite signing Nicolas Pepe from Lille for a club record fee in the range of £72,000,000 Arsenal haven’t changed still, and several pundits have said that this is the best squad Arsenal have in the last six years, what Arsenal fans say now is that they had a great manager with an average squad and now they lack a good manger and have a great squad.

Emery has displayed that he has got no tactical nous nor the mindset to be a manager of a Premier league top four team, at best he could manage a bottom half team like Southampton, Watford and the likes. Lack of success has left the fans sad and they clamour for change.
Emery, who watched on as his side twice blew a lead to lose 5-4 on penalties to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, is said to be in danger of losing his job.

Potential replacement have been lined up for the club and we have :
