A student of Ekiti State Student, Tosin Oribamise will represent, Nigeria at the maiden edition of International Table Tennis Federation, ITTF, Western Africa challenge this weekend.

Ten other Teams have qualified to participate in Abidjan, Capital City of Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast).

Team Nigeria who have assembled her participants in Lagos for about a week ago flies to Abidjan today ahead tomorrow’s Competition.

Tosin Oribamise, a Student of Ekiti state University who also is a participant informed our Correspondents that the names of her fellow participants both in the male and female categories in which we have Augustine Emmanuel and Ayanwale Jamiu in the males’ category while the females’ category parades Oribamise Esther and Fatimo Bello.

The President of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation in person of Engr. Tikon Ishaku informed Pressmen that the competition is to nurture junior and senior players in Cote d’Ivoire and he is boastful of good results in the forthcoming competition.

However the competition will determine countries that will participate in 2020 Africa Top 16 Cup.

Moreover, Countries to participate in the ITTF Include Cote d’Ivoire ( Host country), Benin Republic, Ghana, Togo, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Guinea Bissau, Niger Republic, Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
