Following the directives of the Nigeria Football Federation on the suspension of all forms of football competitions in Nigeria for the next 30days as a precautionary concern for COVID 19 pandemic, the board of the OGUN STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION has complied with the latest development.

Consequently, the State FA Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi hereby mandates all football activities in the state to be suspended with immediate effect till the next four weeks including all Schools and local football Competitions.

All Local Football Council Chairmen & members across the 20 Local Governments in the State as well as other stakeholders to ensure strict adherence to this directive.

The Chairman also admonished all stakeholders to comply with various safety precautions and conduct as advised by the Federal Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, such as hand-washing, the use of sanitizers and social distancing.

It should be noted that refusal to comply with the directives will attract disciplinary consequences from the board.
