Nigerian and Horoya Striker, Simeon Bolaji Sakin believes his Guinean outfit, Horoya Athletic Club can cause upsets in the CAF Champions League after qualifying for the quarter finals.

The Former Rivers United forward who has registered three goals on the continent this season was a regular in the colours of the Guinean clubside in the CAF Champions League as they qualified for the last eight in a group that has E.S Tunisia, Orlando Pirates from South Africa and Platinum FC.

His words ” You enjoy football more when you win games, at this stage, we just want to continue playing and working hard, we believe we can do the unthinkable even though we are taking it one game at a time”.

Horoya Athletic Club qualified for the Champions League last eight alongside Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, Esperance du Tunis, Tout Puissant Mazembe of Congo, Algeria’s CS Constantine, Al Ahly of Egypt and Simba SC from Tanzania.

The 26 year old former Abia Warriors, Wikki Tourists and Rivers United Hitman joined Horoya AC in 2017 and has since won four trophies, two Guinean super Cup trophies,
One Guinean Cup and one League title.
