David Barmasai Tumo of Ethiopia of wins the 5th Edition of Access Bank Lagos City Marathon with 2hours 10minutes 23seconds

The 32 year old set a new record at the silver label marathon

The Access Bank Lagos City Maratho, flags of by 6:30 a.m., and some of the major highways in Lagos experience total closure while it is on.

The Marathon course which spans a distance of about 42km, starts at National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos , (where previous half marathons initially finished), continues along the Third Mainland Bridge , to the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge and finishes at Eko Atlantic.

He has a personal best of 2:07:18 hours (set winning the 2011 Dubai Marathon ) and came fifth at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics .
