Flying Eagles of Nigeria on Friday qualified to participate in the FIFA U20 World cup in Poland.
The world cup was scheduled to commence in May, 2019.
Paul Aigbagun boys picked the ticket after beating Niger Republic in the last game of group A, on a goal to nil at the ongoing African cup of Nations U20 championship in Niger.
Adamu Alhassan free kick in the 73rd minutes gave Nigerians the hope of featuring in the FIFA world cup.
Earlier, Nigeria has defeated Burundi in her opening match 2-0 and share spoils with south Africa before defeating Niger with one goal to nil.
