Lagos base academy, Ablaze football academy qualified to the final of the first Bayern youth cup in Nigeria.

After a tight winning game in the quater finals against Early Starters FA yesterday,Ablaze faced a hardcore Kano stars who are very fast and extremely physical.

The star of the day became Ogunbowale Rotimi as he made 5 clear cut saves to keep the Blazers in the game while the Blazers kept looking for an opening.

Kano Stars dominated play greatly giving the Blazers difficult time to settle in due to their physicality and speed but Ablaze finaly finally got their rythm late in the game.

The match ended on a draw to penalty shootout where every of Ablaze penalties (Bolaji,Mark,Kaka,Haddi,Michael) went in with Obayemi Michael scoring the winning penalty however Kano Star missed theirs as the ball struck bar.

Michael’s winning penalty takes them to the final of the first Bayern Munich Youth Cup 2018 held in Nigeria as they will be meeting Sporting Dreams FC in a promising and interesting finals.
