After 11 successful years playing for the Arsenal ladies, Danielle Carter will leave Arsenal Women following the conclusion of her contract. The England international was signed from Leyton Orients in 2009 and she will depart the club as the longest-serving player in the current squad.

In her 11 years with Arsenal Women football club, she had 184 appearances and scored 60 goals, won 5 Conti Cups, 4 FA Cups, 3 FAWSL titles, 2 ACLs, and 1 FA Premier League title.

Arsenal Ladies head coach, Joe Montemurro, got lots of praise for the English forward and wished her all the best on her next journey: “Danielle has been an amazing professional and character through very difficult times over the past couple of years. She has achieved many accolades as both a footballer and a person and I’m sure there are many more to come. We want to wish her all the best for the future.

Danielle Carter had a lot of wonderful moments wearing an Arsenal jersey but the most iconic one among them was her goal against Chelsea in an FA Cup final match at Wembley in 2016 where they won the competition for the 14th time in history.

Danielle’s amazing work off the pitch in the Arsenal community in 2019 won her PFA Community Champion Award.
