After playing a goalless draw Freetown away to Leone Stars of Sierra Leone in match day Four of African Cup Of Nations qualifiers, Nigeria’s Super Eagles have returned to Nigeria and landed at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Abuja.
Following a shocking result of 4-4 against Sierra Leone in the match day 3, Nigerians were hoping to see their national team securing an away win in Freetown but the home team stood its ground to pick another draw and keep alive its hope of qualification.
According to plan, the Nigeria side departed Freetown immediately after the match and arrived in the country in the early hours of Wednesday.
They touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja very early in the morning.
The players are expected to start departing to their various clubs abroad.
